Alan Flannigan is a Vice President on the Investment Research team where he focuses on leveraged credit, private market secondaries and macroeconomics to inform firm insights. Prior to joining Future Standard, Mr. Flannigan served as a senior adviser to the Pennsylvania Secretary of Banking and Securities. He holds a BA in Economics from Lafayette College.

Kirsten Pickens

Kirsten Pickens serves as Managing Director and Co-Head of Global Wealth at Future Standard. Ms. Pickens is responsible for overseeing the distribution strategy for the U.S. Private Wealth Channel, and directly overseeing all U.S. Wealth Platforms across Wirehouse, RIA, Private Bank and Independent Broker-Dealer channels.

In addition to her role at Future Standard, Ms. Pickens serves on the boards of the Expect Miracles Foundation, Invest in Others and NICSA, as well as the FUSE National Accounts Advisory Board. She is a member of the Sales Force Marketing Committee of the Investment Company Institute, a member of the Money Management Institute.

Ryan Robertson

Ryan Robertson serves as Managing Director and Co-Head of Global Wealth at Future Standard, where he oversees all external and internal sales professionals across the firm’s expanding distribution platform. Mr. Robertson is responsible for the development and growth of the firm’s wirehouse, registered investment advisor and independent broker-dealer channels.

Before joining Future Standard, Mr. Robertson spent eight years at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, most recently as a Vice President and Divisional Sales Manager for its wirehouse and regional broker-dealer distribution channel. Earlier in his career, he served as a Regional Marketing Director at Hartford Mutual Funds. Before beginning his career in financial services, Mr. Robertson was a professional basketball player, competing in the NBA with the Sacramento Kings and internationally in Europe.

Mr. Robertson serves on the Board of Governors for the Money Management Institute (MMI).

Daniel Wilk is a Managing Director and Head of Private Equity Solutions at Future Standard. Jason Cole

Jason Cole is a Managing Director and Head of Public Policy at Future Standard, where he leads the firm’s public policy and government affairs strategy across federal, state and local levels. He brings extensive experience in policy development and advocacy, strategic communications, media relations, and political, issue‑based, and brand campaigns.

Before joining Future Standard, Mr. Cole spent more than a decade in the U.S. House of Representatives, serving first as a legislative director and later as chief of staff for two Members of Congress on the House Financial Services Committee.

In addition to his work on Capitol Hill, Mr. Cole led federal government relations at MetLife and served as an Executive Director in UBS’ U.S. Office of Public Policy where he shaped each firm’s position on financial services, tax and retirement policies. He also provided regular insights to investors about the intersection of policy and politics.

Troy Gayeski

Troy Gayeski is a Managing Director and the Chief Market Strategist at Future Standard. He is responsible for research generation, positioning and conveying the Future Standard suite of alternative investments in today's marketplace.

Since joining the firm, Mr. Gayeski has spearheaded "The Time for Alts Is Now" and "Roll Up the Capital Structure" campaigns. He also developed the "Galactic Mean Reversion" macro thesis for explaining the current challenging environment for equity and fixed income returns, as well as the continued strength of both nominal GDP and the labor market. Mr. Gayeski works closely with the sales and distribution teams to educate financial advisors on the power of "northwest quadrant of the efficient frontier strategies" and timely asset allocation enhancements.
